Brantford Special Olympics
soccer team qualified for the Ontario Special Olympic games held in Sault
Ste. Marie in August 2001.
They came fourth out of 8
teams, narrowly missing the bronze medal on a head to head loss of 1-0
while their goal average was superior to the Bronze medal winning team.
The team continues
to practice every Monday evening 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at Woodman Drive Community
Centre. This program is open to all Special Olympic athletes who would
like to play soccer.
The

House, Neil McDonald, Joanna Young, Gary Cutler, Christine Wilson, and
