We lost the first 3 games of the season and did not lose another game all season except for losing to the 1st place team twice. Congratulations girls on an outstanding showing!

 

  • Under 11Boys
    This was a building year for the Under 11 Boys. The team showed great improvement towards the end of the season.
 

This was a banner year for the Under 12 Girls. They remained undefeated for the entire season. They played 13 games, won 11 and tied 2. They have been promoted to the premier division for 2005. Well done girls!

The under 13 Girls improved at a spectacular rate. After a slow start during the regular season, they were the runner up at the Brantford Soccer Classic narrowly losing the championship match versus St Catherines Concord on PK.

Sarah Clarson was recognized as the game MVP and was the recipient of a Roots watch.

 

  • Under 14 Boys

This was a tough year for the under 14 boys. However they always managed to show an indomitable spirit at every game. They remained very competitive in every match.

The Under 15 Boys finished the season  with 10 wins, four ties, and four losses. They distinguished themselves at the Brantford Soccer Classic Tournament where they defeated all opponents in the preliminary rounds. They narrowly lost the championship match against Simcoe in penalty shootouts.

 

 
 

The Stingers faced some major competitions this year. They managed to keep their composure especially when things did not go their way. The team made good progress and the players are looking forward to the 2005 season.

 

The Tigers had an excellent season opener when they won The London March Madness Tournament for the second year in a row.

They put up an outstanding show at the Niagara Tournament in May. They lost a 1-0 decision to the Niagara Falls Thunder in the semi-final match.

The Tigers continued to distinguish themselves at the Brantford Soccer Classic. Despite being short handed, the Tigers were victorious over all opponents in the preliminary rounds. They defeated Concord 3-1 in the quarter finals. They won against Sarnia in the semi-finals. The championship match featured the Tigers versus Concord. After an epic battle that remained tied after overtime, the Tigers succumbed in the penalty shootout.

The Tigers scored 21 points in the regular season, only 6 points behind the second place team. The players were tough and faced all challenges with great determination.

All the players are to be congratulated for showing great class and finesse even when things were tough.

The U 18 Girls had a good season. They scored 28 points. They were only 3 points behind the first place team in their division.

They lost the championship match of the Brantford Soccer Classic Tournament in penalty shootouts.
