Brampton A: 1 Brantford Strikers: 5

The Strikers started their 2001-2002 indoor division against the seasoned and well-prepared Brampton A team. The strikers have competed well against this team however, they have rarely beaten them consistently. Game 4282 started out well for the Strikers and continued well with Brantford besting their rivals 5-1 in a hotly contested game that saw several excellent plays from players on both teams.

_____________________Oakville Defeated!!
In a hotly contested league game the Brantford U-12 Strikers overcame an early one goal deficit to defeat the Oakville Blue Stars 4-3. Brantford scored within 5 minutes of the early Oakville goal and continued pressing until the final whistle 40 minutes later. Oakville, until this game, was undefeated in league games this season. Brantford's defence, anchored by Trevor Schein, Joseph Squeo and Mark Reilly arguably played their best game of the season and when Oakville produced a shot on net, Brad Scott and Thomas Drewery provided superb 'keeping. The goals were scored by Marq Bijman, Joseph Squeo, Jeffery Wreaks, and Nick Fererria.
